ISRO మెరుగైన SSLV తొలి దశను విజయవంతంగా పరీక్షించింది

భారత అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధనా సంస్థ ISRO చిన్న ఉపగ్రహాల ప్రయోగాల కోసం ఉపయోగించే **Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)**లో మెరుగుపరిచిన తొలి దశ SS1కు 11 ఆగస్టు 2026న శ్రీహరికోటలోని సతీష్ ధావన్ స్పేస్ సెంటర్‌లో విజయవంతంగా గ్రౌండ్ స్టాటిక్ టెస్ట్ నిర్వహించింది.

ఈ మెరుగైన డిజైన్‌లో రెండు మోటార్ సెగ్మెంట్లలో propellant burn rate పెంపు, thermal protection systemలో మార్పులు, nozzle subsystemలో ప్రక్రియాపరమైన మెరుగుదలలు చేశారు. ఈ మార్పుల లక్ష్యం SSLVను మరింత production-friendlyగా మార్చడం.

పరీక్ష సమయంలో 600కు పైగా parametersను instrumentation ద్వారా పర్యవేక్షించారు. పరీక్షా ఫలితాలు అంచనా వేసిన పనితీరుకు దగ్గరగా ఉన్నాయని ISRO తెలిపింది. మెరుగైన SS1ను SSLVలో ప్రవేశపెట్టిన తర్వాత Low Earth Orbitకి payload capacity సుమారు 100 kg వరకు పెరగవచ్చని ISRO అంచనా వేసింది.
